Some run-of-the-mill thoughts from your average Republican fools. I leave the presidential field for others. It’s impossible to improve on the absurdity of comments from the presidential candidates, where the average delusion that passes for an idea makes Lewis Carroll look like a Nobel laureate in religion.

Indiana Congressman Bob Morris says that the Girl Scouts is a “radicalized organization” that “sexualizes” young girls and promotes homosexuality.

Minnesota Rep. Mary Franson (R-Alexandria) was a child-care provider for four years. She said she worries about “propaganda” children might be exposed to, “including forming the phrase ‘tax the rich’ in macaroni noodles as a craft project” if daycare providers unionize.

Michele Bachmann says Hurricane Irene was God’s way of telling Washington that it is spending too much.
